Apply for a Scholarship

We strive to bring together the most diverse group of people possible — we firmly believe in equality, which is why we invite anyone and everyone to participate.

For the third time at CSSconf EU we are offering our scholarship program which supports individuals from underrepresented groups to attend CSSconf EU and/or JSConf EU

We are very grateful and would like to say a big Thank You to the companies and individuals who donate to our Scholarship Programme. In 2017, we were able to give away 80 tickets and we hope to be able to invite even more people in 2018, who could not otherwise afford it.

Anyone from an underrepresented group in tech is invited to apply for a scholarship. This includes, but is not limited to: women, people of color, LGBTQIA+ people, disabled people, and people facing economic or social hardships.

❤️ Granting these scholarships is made possible thanks to our Diversity Support Tickets initiative and the generous contributions made by our sponsors. More help is needed – talk to us if you’d like to get involved: [email protected].

You are invited to apply for a single conference ticket for CSSconf EU or for a Combo ticket for CSSconf EU and JSConf. On the application form you will be asked if you need financial help with travel and accommodation and if you need a travel support person.

Please note that we will have two different application deadlines in 2018.

  1. The deadline for ticket plus travel grant from outside Europe has already passed! It is not possible anymore to apply for travel grants if you’re travelling from outside the EU.

  2. If you are applying for a ticket without travel grant or for tickets with travel grants within Europe applications close on March 31, 2018.

All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application a few weeks after each application closes.
